"I'LL TAKE IT TO GO"

All industries have taken a hit to the operation of normal business practices, the retail sector being no exception. For some larger retailers like Target and Walmart, curbside services were introduced to their store locations before the outbreak of the Coronavirus. As store closures increased, many retailers had to introduce contactless or limited contact practices into their business model if they wanted to stay in business during a time of drastic change in consumer behavior. During the pandemic, the amount of people using online forums for everyday basics has grown exponentially. Even with the re-phasing of consumers back into physical locations it is not implausible to assume some will not return to the traditional retail as online and curbside options are not only safer, but more convenient.

When looking at trend forecasting for A/W 19/20 as well as S/S 20, colors and prints were incorporated into outfits. A combination of grunge and and goth styles, oversized silhouettes and refreshed colors were some of the top trends in streetwear. Regarding colors, light greens and soft yellows were among some of the most trending. For tops, cropped elements have been and will continue to be a hot commodity in the closets of most.

In this case, I juxtaposed an oversized yellow fleece pair of sweatpants with a cropped white tee. I also included some layered gold jewelry and a pair of Air Force 1's.
